Earth eCoin — Durable Nylon Lick Mat & Enrichment Toy for Dogs and Cats

The SodaPup Earth eCoin is a 5" diameter durable nylon enrichment disc designed for dogs and cats of all sizes. Tough enough to withstand chewing, yet perfectly shaped for smearing with soft foods for a satisfying licking session — the Earth eCoin delivers calm, focused enrichment in a compact, easy-to-clean format. Whether your pet is a licker, a chewer, or both, this versatile enrichment coin handles it all.

Key Features

• 5" diameter nylon disc: Flat coin shape with treat-holding grooves on both faces — sized right for small, medium, and large dogs, and ideal for cat enrichment too
• Durable nylon construction: Far tougher than silicone or rubber lick mats — holds up to dogs who transition from licking to chewing. No dog toy is indestructible; always supervise use and replace if significantly worn
• Lick and chew versatility: Smear with peanut butter, yogurt, wet food, cream cheese, pureed pumpkin, or any pet-safe spread for a rewarding licking challenge; durable enough to double as a chew toy
• Ideal for small enrichment sessions: Perfect for short, focused enrichment — great for crate time, grooming distraction, cooperative care, and calm settling
• Cat enrichment: The flat disc and treat-holding grooves make it an excellent enrichment tool for cats who enjoy licking soft foods
• Dishwasher safe: Top-rack dishwasher safe for easy daily cleaning
• FDA-compliant nylon: Non-toxic, BPA-free, food-safe material

How to Use the Earth eCoin

As a lick mat: Spread peanut butter, plain yogurt, wet food, cream cheese, or pureed treats into the grooves on either face of the disc. Your dog or cat will work to lick every bit out, turning a simple treat into a focused enrichment session. For a longer-lasting challenge, fill and freeze for 2–4 hours before serving.

As a chew toy: The durable nylon construction holds up to dogs who chew as well as lick. The Earth eCoin is a great option for pets who destroy silicone or rubber lick mats. Always supervise chew sessions and replace if the toy becomes significantly worn.

Enrichment Benefits for Dogs and Cats

Licking is a naturally calming behavior for both dogs and cats — it activates soothing neural pathways and helps reduce stress and anxiety. The Earth eCoin is a practical enrichment tool for:

• Separation anxiety: Load frozen and place in the crate before you leave to create a positive association and extend calm focus
• Cooperative care: Use as a distraction during nail trims, grooming, vet visits, and desensitization sessions
• Slow feeding: Spread a meal’s worth of wet food across the grooves to slow consumption and support healthy digestion
• Mental stimulation: Short licking sessions provide cognitive enrichment that helps reduce boredom and destructive behavior
• Cat enrichment: Cats benefit from food-based enrichment too — smear with wet food, tuna, or a cat-safe spread for a novel foraging experience
• Calm settling: A frozen eCoin gives high-energy pets a focused, calming activity during downtime

Why Nylon Over Silicone or Rubber?

Most lick mats are made from silicone or rubber — materials that can crack, tear, or be ingested in chunks by determined chewers. The Earth eCoin’s durable nylon construction is significantly tougher, making it the right choice for pets who lick and chew. It’s also dishwasher safe, so daily sanitation is simple and reliable.

Ideal For

• Small, medium, and large dogs — all sizes benefit from short enrichment sessions
• Cats who enjoy licking soft foods
• Dogs who destroy silicone or rubber lick mats
• Anxious or high-energy pets who need a calming outlet
• Cooperative care and grooming distraction
• Slow feeding and mealtime enrichment
• Puppies and senior dogs who need gentle mental stimulation

Nylon Material & Care

SodaPup nylon is very durable, but no dog toy is indestructible. The nylon is hard but designed to be softer than a dog's teeth, giving way before dental damage. Roughening and wearing down with chewing are normal wear and tear. Always supervise use, inspect the nylon before and after each session, and replace it when damaged or excessively worn. For mixed-material sets, this material and wear guidance applies only to the nylon components; follow each item's specific use and safety instructions.
