Overview
Heatstroke is less common in cats than dogs but can occur in confined, poorly ventilated, or overheated environments.
Symptoms
- Rapid breathing
- Drooling
- Weakness
- Vomiting
- Collapse
Treatment
- Controlled cooling
- IV fluids
- Oxygen therapy
- ICU monitoring

Prevention
- Provide shade and ventilation
- Never leave in closed spaces
- Ensure constant water access
