Overview
Trauma includes any physical injury that may cause internal or external damage.
Symptoms
- Limping
- Bleeding
- Shock signs
- Difficulty breathing
- Collapse
Treatment
- Stabilization (fluids, oxygen)
- Pain control
- X-rays/ultrasound
- Surgery if needed
When to See a Vet
👉 Immediately after any trauma.
Prevention
- Leash control
- Secure fencing
