Overview

Parvovirus is a highly contagious viral disease that attacks the intestines and immune system, most dangerous in puppies.


Symptoms

  • Severe vomiting
  • Bloody diarrhea
  • Lethargy
  • Dehydration

Treatment

  • ICU hospitalization
  • IV fluids
  • Antibiotics (secondary infection prevention)
  • Anti-nausea meds

  • Core vaccines
  • Avoid contaminated areas

Overview

Heatstroke occurs when body temperature rises beyond safe limits, causing organ failure and neurological damage.


Symptoms

  • Excessive panting
  • Bright red gums
  • Vomiting
  • Collapse
  • Seizures

Treatment

  • Controlled cooling
  • IV fluids
  • Oxygen therapy
  • ICU monitoring

Prevention
