Heatstroke occurs when body temperature rises beyond safe limits, causing organ failure and neurological damage.


Symptoms

  • Excessive panting
  • Bright red gums
  • Vomiting
  • Collapse
  • Seizures

Treatment

  • Controlled cooling
  • IV fluids
  • Oxygen therapy
  • ICU monitoring

Prevention

  • No hot car exposure
